We strive to sustain the built environment by repairing older windows in residential and commercial buildings and adding interior wood sash, polyolefin wrapped window insulation panels that prevent heat loss and eliminate draftiness. Keeping tons of wavy glass and old growth wood sashes out of landfills is our goal.

The "Partners" of Partners for Greener Building are people with the greatest need for a self-directed way to sustain their own financial well being. We are recruiting women and men from regional shelters and correctional centers and introducing them to the energy efficiency trades.

Because single women head 70% of the households with children in poverty, our mission is to grow a women-owned worker cooperative that reverses this statistic - one community area at a time.
