We accept and distribute donations of new and used clothing and small household goods in good useful condition through our Free Store. Last year 122,599 pounds of clothing and goods were received and sorted. We also rescue food that would otherwise go to waste. Late year, a total of 274,000 pounds of food was rescued in this way. Nothing is wasted. Food which cannot be distributed for human consumption is given to a farmer who feeds it to his sheep.

The Amherst Survival Center provides food, healthcare, clothing and community to over 3000 people each year in Hampshire and Franklin counties through volunteer efforts.
