Address
4 Open Square Way Suite 214, Holyoke, MA, 01040
Environment
Pulaski Park is the only large green public space in the urban core of Holyoke, the Commonwealth's poorest community. Friends of Pulaski Park works to preserve and improve the walkable park environment, including benches, trees, play structures, and more.
People
Pulaski Park is adjacent to the Connecticut River and - if the view were restored- could connect downtown Holyoke residents and visitors to this natural resource. Improving the park will improve park users' quality of life.
Community
Friends of Pulaski Park is 100% volunteer organization. We have no staff, and all overhead is donated. Friends of Pulaski Park has over 40 active and passionate volunteers.
Current Campaign
Friends of Pulaski Park is raising money to clear as much of the river view as is allowable by environmental regulations. Being able to see the river from the park was the most requested improvement (83% of respondents) in a survey of park users.
The work is very expensive and time consuming. Please use the 'donate' button on our home page! Friends of Pulaski Park is a 501(c) 3 not for profit, and 100% of your donation is tax deductible.
