Evaluation Systems group of Pearson seeks occasional writers to develop multiple-choice test questions for teacher certification exams. Qualified individuals will have a four-year college degree in a specific content field and/or a current teaching certificate (some content fields require current employment or recent teaching experience in those fields). All training and writing workshops will take place in-house at our Hadley facility. The pay rate for training and writing is $18 per hour; a catered lunch is provided each day.
Qualified writers are needed for summer training/writing workshops in these fields on the following dates:
Mathematics - July 6-8, 2011
Elementary Education - July 12-14, 2011
Special Education - July 20-21, 2011
School Counselor - July 26-28, 2011
Evaluation Systems group of Pearson is an educational testing company that develops and administers customized teacher certification testing programs and other assessment programs in higher education. Our work covers assessments in more than one hundred content fields, professional teaching skills, and the basic skills of reading, writing, and mathematics. Evaluation Systems' contracts span the country and have included the states of Arizona, New Mexico, California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia, and Florida.
