About Us

Little Birch Farm began out of a necessity to create healthy body products for our family & friends. Over the last twenty years we have developed many tried and true products that we are now able to share with you. We also wish to have the smallest possible impact on the environment. We accomplish this by wild crafting & growing as many of our own herbs as possible and using the highest quality ingredients – no petroleum products, artificial dyes, fragrances or hardeners. We also put a lot of consideration into our packaging with 100% biodegradable labels (hand-printed in our on-site letterpress studio) and recyclable glass jars. So, indulge your senses guilt-free in beautiful and healthy salves, creams and soaps!

Environment

  • All-natural products, wildcrafting and growing our own herbs, harvesting Birch bark from fallen trees on our land, printing our own labels on two manually operated antique Letterpress printing presses

Community

  • Member of Artisans of WMass, supporting other local artists and craftspeople

Animals & Wildlife

  • Most of our products are vegan and all of our products are cruelty-free

Fruit/vegetable basket is inexpensive and usually mostly organic.

Very nice locally made castile soap. A bit like Dr. Bronner's but not quite as thick.

They have a small but excellent prepared foods section with many macrobiotic and vegan options. The buffalo tofu is the best!
