The Perfect Family is a laugh out loud, heartfelt comedy / drama about a devout woman (Turner) who wants to win the Catholic Woman of the Year award. Her struggle with her homophobia, her faith, and her love for her family is portrayed honestly with compassion and humor. This film examines universal family dynamics that everyone, LGBT and heterosexual folks, young and older, will definitely be able to relate to.
